Privacy
Utilizing the NYACLU’s most recent guidelines for media privacy, we redact all footage utilizing automated tools that discover and blur all faces – before the footage is even seen by an editor. Messaging to employees and tenants can be provided by our firm to reassure their privacy is top priority.
Liability/Vendor Vetting
We use a proprietary scorecard to rate flying vendors and only accept “highly recommended” scoring ones with all the proper insurance, training, and credentials.
Safety
Risk management is at the core of all of our work. All equipment is inspected, flights are only scheduled for perfect weather days, and multiple landing sites are confirmed in case a mission has to be diverted.
Mission Design
Our years of media production and flight instruction have given us a flexible framework that can be adapted to many kinds of clients needs. From conceptualizing the final deliverables and their actual use; documenting flight plans and getting permits; selecting vendors and employees for participation; and following postproduction requirements, our missions are end-to-end planned and executed.
Data Management
Media created during flights, after privacy redaction, is held on an encrypted media server during post production. Edited versions can be stored as well.
Permitting – FAA and City of NY
We work closely with both the FAA and the NYPD to ensure all permits are assigned well in advance of flights.
